On Friday, August 22, 2008, several autos left the Western Suburbs of Chicago for the remote resort community of Lake Carroll. The event was to celebrate Laura Williams 50th Birthday.

This sojourn took longer for some. For others, it just meant an excuse to stop for McDonald’s french fries. Did they make the long trip in search of joining in on the celebration? Was it to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle on the lake? Or, was it in anticipation of great food, killer wines and that special chance to poke fun at the Birthday Girl all weekend long?
